My mums school is quite poor, and in her nursery department, the dressing up box contains mostly fairy outfits.
I've been meaning to wack something up for a while, but last night with my sewing machine out I finally had the urge.
She told me tabbard style tops with velcro fasteners on the sides, were the best for the kids.
They're a bit rushed, but i don't think the kids will mind!

Start from today, go back to the past another day.
I've decide i'll start to update this now as i do things, and go fill in the gaps later.
So at school i was shown how to embroider on a machine last week. I LIKE IT!
I did this one completely free hand. i coloured in the heart and the clothes with a satin stitch (really close zig zags)

Sock Bunny
Last easter I made a sock bunny for a friend. When my mum saw it, she tried to steal it.
So i made her one for her birthday this year.
I found the pretty socks in ASDA. Promise i'll write a tutorial next time i make one!

In the beginning...
There once was a little girl, who loved to make things.
She did things like filled her garden shed with cardboard shoes she had made from the surplus from her Dad's office, then try and convince her family they were the bees knees.
Her first set of fabric markers changed her life, and her first sewing machine even more.
The little girl loved bits and bobs so much, she would have the oddest collection, just incase she could make something out of them one day.
Anyway, this girl grew up, and kept making more, and collecting more, and this is where we begin.
